Anna Robbins is a Seattle-based writer/director dedicated to creating bold queer storytelling and authentic narratives of trauma survival. She grew up in rural Southwest Washington within an extremely strict Mormon community. She turned to filmmaking from a young age to escape the confines of organized religion and to better understand her queer identity. Given the impact storytelling has had on her life, she now seeks to create similar impacts on the lives of others. Anna is currently double-majoring in Cinema Media Studies and Creative Writing with a minor in Business Administration at the University of Washington. She is set to graduate next year and will soon be crowdfunding for her next short film, Ruin Me. She is ultimately very excited to serve as one of the presidents for LUX and to create a collaborative community for emerging filmmakers.

Sage (they/them) is a third year majoring in Marketing and Human Resources Management. They started in LUX as a freshman doing hair and makeup, but have since expanded their skills into writing, directing, and intimacy coordination. This year, they will be serving as the Head of Operations and Vice President, facilitating weekly meetings and supporting club members as they venture into filmmaking. Outside of LUX, they enjoy performing, event planning, and cosplay. They look forward to another year of meeting cool people and making amazing films!
